Taylor Swift, the award-decorated musical icon, purchased this historic home in Beverly Hills back in 2015 for $25 million.
Its history dates to Hollywood’s heyday, as it was constructed in 1934 for golden-age film producer Samuel Goldwyn, one of the triumvirate that founded the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) Studios.
After Swift purchased and renovated it, she submitted the Georgian Revival mansion — boasting seven bedrooms and 10 baths — for inclusion on the U.S. List of National Historical Landmarks. The address was added in 2017.
The living room is a comfortable area with lots of natural light and is decorated beautifully. It’s a picture-perfect spot to sit on the plush couches and tell stories into the night around the cozy fireplace.
The dining room is ideal for sit-down family meals. There’s even easy access to the back patio for some post-dinner relaxation.
Immediately upon entering the library, it presents itself as immensely comforting. The shelves are stocked with books, and there’s snug couches to curl up in next to the fireplace. It’s not hard to imagine Swift secluding herself here to work out some of her lyrics or chord progressions.
