Larry Ellison is cofounder, executive chairman and chief technology officer of Oracle, the Austin, Texas, computer software developer and marketer. As reported by Forbes, he owns more than 45 dwellings with a combined valuation of $1 billion.
Among them is Gemini, a Manalapan, Fla., mansion that USA Today estimated to be worth $173 million when Ellison bought it in June 2022.
Fancy Pants Homes profiled the Ellison estate at 2000 S. Ocean Boulevard, noting its proximity to Palm Beach (only a 20-minute drive away) and attractive borders: the Atlantic Ocean to its east; the South Lake Worth Inlet to the west.

From the start, Gemini makes a strong impression as soon as guests step over the threshold and enter the foyer.

A right turn from the entryway leads to the living room. Its ceiling has been inlaid with a visually interesting, recessed tray pattern.

The home’s lush, tropical surroundings provide numerous reasons to bring the outdoors in. The living room’s design was purposefully built to make that option a year-round advantage.

The living room naturally invites guests to step out on a covered patio. A set of ceiling fans provides cooling breezes while also stirring the air with the scent of nearby flowers.

Alfresco refreshments in this area are aided by the convenience of a nearby bar.

When seasonal flowers bloom, this space takes on a unique kind of magic and privacy.

The eye-catching marble on the lower levels of Gemini has been seamlessly brought to the second floor via a beautiful staircase. The continuance of the flooring material upward smooths the visual transition between the home’s stories.

If the purpose of an onsite guest’s visit is to share some engaging discussion over a meal, the adjacent dining room, beautifully laid out, is only steps away.

The master bedroom is a haven worthy of any business tycoon. It’s a quiet nook, where the abundance of windows ensures a view of the calm waters outside, only a glance away.

The master bathroom has a sleek and contemporary design that blends utility with upscale fixtures and amenities.

A total of 12 bedrooms are spread across the Gemini floor plan. This one is especially tranquil and conducive to deep slumber.

One of the other sleeping quarters offers its own balcony.

In terms of activities, Gemini has been outfitted to support numerous pastimes and sporting possibilities. These include—unsurprisingly, because, after all, this is Florida—a pool.

With so many business discussions being held during a round of golf, the presence of a few PGA-standard holes onsite is a notable asset.

Interested in something that offers a little more cardio? The property also holds a basketball court, amply shaded to keep those layups from becoming too heated.

When the weather turns inclement, a good cardio burn is available back in the mansion itself. The gym is large enough to hold the exercise equipment for a major carb burn or smaller-scale muscle building.

Given its surroundings by water, it’s conceivable that residents might want to feel the soft sand between their toes and take a dip. There are two ways to access the rolling surf. One is an underground tunnel that delivers walkers right to a primo spot on the shoreline.

The second, which may work better with parents shuttling children to and from the surf with buckets and sand toys, is a shaded pathway in the open air.

As if all of these amenities aren’t enough, Gemini also features a mini-golf course, multiple playgrounds, a bird sanctuary, and a butterfly garden outfitted with a model train.
