Reality television star Robert Herjavec was born in Croatia and lived there until the age of eight, when his family moved to Toronto to escape the totalitarianism that had overtaken Eastern Europe. The family was so destitute, the Herjavecs lived in the basement of a family friend’s home, as reported by ArticleBio.
After eventually graduating from the University of Toronto and working numerous minimum-wage jobs, Herjavec worked in the entertainment industry before founding his own IT firm. After appearing on the Canadian television show Dragon’s Den (an entrepreneurial pitch show), he became a regular on Shark Tank, both for ABC television and the Australian version.
He is now CEO of the Herjavec Group, a provider of security solutions and cyber defenses.
As published by the Robb Report, Herjavec’s New York luxury condominium is available for purchase. It is located at 157 West 57th Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues, on Billionaires’ Row, where it overlooks Central Park from a 1,000-foot vantage point.
Guests are welcomed by an entry foyer that immediately makes an impression.
A short hallway provides access to the rest of the home.
A wall of windows in the living room opens the eye to an unforgettable vista.
The open floor plan flows directly from the living room into the dining area, making entertaining a seamless experience from intimate discussion to a gourmet repast.
Preparing menus associated with entertainment is facilitated by a kitchen outfitted with every culinary amenity necessary for both fine dining and casual snacking.
Flexible seating is available for mealtimes; this banquette, as with the other architectural accents in the home, is positioned to take advantage of the massive windows.
Business titans also need some place to focus, plan, strategize, and create; therefore, the tone of the onsite office is a bit more serious. Plenty of natural daylight provides comfortable illumination by day.
