On June 4, 2025, Banking+ celebrates its first full year since launch, marking a year of significant progress. 

When we set out to create a banking-focused news, lifestyle, and enrichment site, our vision was simple: tell the real stories of the financial professionals who keep their local communities moving. Not the major headlines that dominate the financial press—but the stories that matter in the breakrooms, the customer service desks, and the teller queues. 

Our Key Growth Metrics

We’re proud to say that Banking+’s vision has resonated far and wide. In just 12 months, we’ve published over 275 stories, generating nearly 50,000 page views. 

But in the world of analytics, raw numbers are only part of the story. With thousands of metrics to obsess over, we keep our focus on just two: 

Organic LinkedIn Growth 

Some content producers buy their followers; that is, they pay an online service provider to supply lists of email addresses. Using this information, publishers enroll these unsuspecting members of the public in their streams of content, hoping they will somehow find it interesting and stay or not bother unsubscribing and continue receiving their content without engaging in it.  

We don’t buy followers. Every single one of our 2,450+ Banking+ LinkedIn followers found us the honest way—through real connection to Banking+. Moreover, the analytics show that our publication’s recipients recommend it to peers. We’ve seen an average of 46+ new banking professionals joining the Banking+ readership per week, making us the fastest-growing platform in our peer group by a wide margin. The proof of that claim is obvious in the line graph and peer group comparison with names blurred. These results are not a mere brag; they’re solid indicators that a fresh look at banking can really connect.
